Bournemouth, Dorset: Traditional Folk Plays at Christmas & Easter

  The Morris Ring

Christmas Mummers Programme 2018

Times of performances are uncertain at best - the first performance of an evening should start at the published time - subsequent performances may be a little later than shown depending on factors such as encores, mince pies, beer, road conditions etc.  Links to the venues are provided as a convenience, and Stourvale Mummers are not responsible for content at these sites.  Post Codes where given are believed to be correct (if you find an error please let us know).

12th December 2018: Our programme for the Christmas 2018 tours is complete as shown below - however there may be a late update to the two "nothing yet planned" items (if we can find suitable venues willing to put up with us).

If you are interested, you can see the script (if it can be described as such) of the Sixpenny Handley play that we perform.  Although we try to be as accurate as possible, the ongoing "folk-process" does lead to variation and ad-libs to include topical events and local references as actor sees fit.

Just occasionally, during the Easter and/or St. George's Day periods, we also perform a Pace-egging play.
